Transfer to Bomet University College

Are you looking to join a vibrant and growing institution of higher learning? Bomet University College (BUC) welcomes transfer applications from students placed by KUCCPS in the 2025/2026 cycle.

The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has announced that the Inter-Institution Transfer (IIT) portal will be open from July 14, 2025 to August 24, 2025. This is your opportunity to make the move and become part of the BUC academic community.

How to Apply for Transfer to BUC

  • Log in to the KUCCPS Student Portal using your KCSE Index Number, exam year, and password.
  • Go to the Transfers → Transfer Applications section.
  • Enter the 7-character programme code for the course you wish to pursue at Bomet University College.
  • Indicate your reason for transfer — e.g., financial reasons, health, program preference, or location.
  • Pay a non-refundable fee of Ksh 1,000 via M-PESA Paybill: 820201 (you’ll be prompted during the process). Keep your MPESA confirmation and eCitizen reference codes.
  • Your current and receiving institutions will each endorse the application within 7 days.
  • KUCCPS will then review your request and issue a decision—usually within 14 working days.
  • If successful, download your Transfer Letter from the portal and present it at BUC to complete your admission.
