We have a long history of proven skills and know how which spans over a century. We provide our students with useful knowledge and information they need to become great men and women of tomorrow. This is a story of how it all started:

1963

Founded

Gravity Education was originally founded as the Free Academy of the City of Oslo in 1963 by a wealthy businessman.

1973

Christian Orientation

In 1973, President John H. Quake gave the Gravity Education a more christian orientation by introducing mandatory chapel attendance.

1987

Expansion of operations

With over 1200 students all across the world, we became the top elementary school for many internationals in Europe.

2000

London school opens

In January 2000, we open our first overseas college in the heart of London to offer our education services in UK.

2011

Toronto, Canada

The Toronto School of Business at the City College of Toronto, named after some alumnus, opened on 23rd Street in Manhattan in 2011

2016

Nairobi, Kenya

In 2016, we ventured into Africa to expand our schools with the first school open in Nairobi, Kenya.

These are our revised fees as of January 2016. You can add more styling to the table by using a combination of classes to improve the visual appearance of your table. See the tables page for more information.

Note

Deposits are charged once on joining the school but must be topped up if deductions are made for losses or breakages. The deposit (or balance thereof) is refundable at the end of a pupil’s final term following clearance by the headteacher.

Year 11, 12 and 13 fees are billed in two tranches in August in December. Fees for all other years are billed in three tranches in August, December and April.


Important information about school fees

  1. Above Fees indicate costs for Tuition, Lunch, School Transport services, Boarding (where applicable) but do not include Enrolment or any applicable Examinations Fees.
  2. Applications for placement at the school are only processed on the return of a duly completed registration form and on the payment of a non-refundable registration fee of $200. In certain Year Groups where vacancies are limited, a 20% advance payment of the tuition fee is payable against the First Term’s invoice. This advance paymentis not refundable if confirmed places are not taken up.Children who cannot be accommodated immediately are put on a waiting list.

Install Forum

To install the Forum do the following:

  1. Download the latest Kunena Component
  2. Go to Extensions > Manage > Install and install it
  3. Extract gravity_extensions.zip from the package you downloaded from Themeforest. You'll find a folder named 'kunena' and within it a package named canvas-kunena-template.zip
  4. Go to Components > Kunena Forum > Templates and click on 'New Template' button
  5. Click on choose file and select canvas-kunena-template.zip then click on 'Upload File & Install button
  6. Once the install is completed, select the Canvas template and set it as Default template
